York Book Expo – November 2, 2019.
This event grew out of a writing program introduced at Paul Smith Library of Southern York County in 2012. "Year of the Book" assembled a community of local authors who started, finished, and published their works in 2013. They celebrated with a gala event featuring NY Times best selling author Linda Castillo and books by 25 participating authors.
Former Library Director Demi Stevens left her position at Paul Smith Library to open Year of the Book publishing and help even more aspiring writers to realize their lifelong dream of seeing their completed books in print.
In 2015, the first York Book Expo featured more than 85 local authors and NY Times best-selling author David Rosenfelt, and was attended by 1200 people.
York Book Expo is proud to connect readers with the work of local and regional authors.
